An unusual 19th century carved walking cane
An unusual 19th century carved walking cane, the handle with a man issuing a scroll of vellum and faint handwriting from the top of his head, with animals around his body, the shaft with further animals and serpents with bead eyes, the base with another human figure, his hinged chest revealing an arrow through his heart with a further scroll of handwritten vellum behind, to a serpent and a brass tip, 33.5in (85cm) l, together with a Lega type bone carving and a Scandinavian wooden drinking vessel.
