A set of nine early 17th century steel and bone handled knives, the blades engraved differing scrolling foliage designs including two falconers, a lady with flowers, a Bacchic figure on a barrel, a couple dancing, a lion and three with birds, all initialed M.F, the faceted handles with engraved foliage, each 10in (25.5cm) l.
