A George III rosewood and satinwood banded cylinder writing desk, the alternating veneered tambour revealing a pull-out writing surface with a leather lined ratcheted and hinged slope and an arrangement of tulipwood banded drawers and pigeon holes, above two short drawers and on square tapering legs to brass caps and castors, 39.25in (99.5cm) h, 33.5in (84.7cm) w, 23in (58.5cm) d.
