A 19th century French carved wood and leather group of three birds, in the manner of Demontreuil, the dead birds suspended from a nail and mounted on a plush lined back within a glazed walnut arched case, 19.25 x 12.25in (48.9 x 31cm). A similar example of two woodcock was sold in these rooms on 11th March 2008 for £4,200.
