A late 19th century French bronze ornamental ewer, with a melon panelled compressed body with a standing putto, previously linked to the spout, and a seated cherub holding garlands of oak, ivy and barley with two birds, a lobster and a hare, on a knopped stem and concave cornered square base, inscribed 'VITTOZ BRONZIER A PARIS,' 16.75in (42.5cm) h.
