A late 18th century European pewter tankard
A late 18th century European pewter tankard, with wriggle work decoration of a hunter shooting a stag and inscribed Diese Kanel will ich Schenken als Bath zu einen Angedencken, the hinged cover with a part ribbed globe thumbpiece and inscribed F S 1794, stamped mark to the lid Carl Got.., 10.5in (26.5cm) h; a pewter lidded flagon, with an engraved wreath initialled HNS over HNK and dated 1743, touch marks to the inside of the cover of a maiden holding scales in one hand and a peacock on the other arm, the inside of the base with a flowerhead, 13.25in (33.5cm) h; and a pewter plate with Blockzinn touchmarks.
