An Italian ebony

An Italian ebony, ivory and amboyna bureau, inlaid with scrolling foliage, putti and cornucopiae, the raised top fitted with two drawers above a hinged fall enclosing three cedar line drawers, above a further drawer, on an ebonised stand, Milan c.1870, 39in (98.6cm) h, 29.5in (75cm) w, 19in (48cm) d. Veneer loss, wear to legs, losses to mouldings.
