An early 19th century French Napoleonic lacquered snuff box, the lid painted with soldiers at camp, indistinctly inscribed, with a faux tortoiseshell interior, the base with a paper label inscribed in pencil 'This box belonged to my paternal grandmother....(1850)....from France by her 2nd husband.....', 8.1cm diameter.
