A 19th century New Zealand parquetry specimen wood jewellery box attributed to William Norrie, the hinged lid inlaid with a parquetry star with exotic woods puriri, rewarewa, mottled kauri, maire and other timbers, on a burr totara ground, the interior with a plush lined lift-out tray with divisions, on ring turned feet, the underside inscribed in pencil with the names of the woods used, 12cm high, 27.5cm wide, 17.5cm deep.
