Giuseppe Beneduce (Italian). A bronze figure of a naked maiden holding a shell, standing on a rocky outcrop, the base with frolicking winged cherubs, signed 'G. Beneduce Firenze', on a serpentine plinth base, late 19th / early 20th century, later converted into a lamp, 66.4cm high.
