A Victorian mahogany apothecary's box
A Victorian mahogany apothecary's box, the hinged top revealing a divided interior, fitted with various glass bottles and stoppers, some with boxwood lids inscribed 'T. A. HAY CHEMIST, WAVERTREE', fitted with scalpels, bandages and other items, the underside of the lid with a handwritten 'Contents' label, 14.5cm high, 36cm wide, 28cm deep.
