A rare late Victorian leather 'Tabloid' apothecary's travelling case, with a strap handle, the interior fitted with utensil holders, a pouch and with various glass bottles with cork stoppers and with original contents, stamped 'TRADE MARK "TABLOID" BRAND BURROUGHS WELLCOME & CO. LONDON, SYDNEY & CAPETOWN.', with registered number '419543', with a tooled view of factories inscribed 'WORKS AND LABORATORIES OF BURROUGHS WELLCOME & CO.', 17.3cm high, 26cm wide, 12.5cm deep.
