A Franco / Flemish carved oak chest on stand, the hinged moulded edge top above a panelled front decorated with two biblical scenes: the annunciation of the Virgin and the Nativity, flanked by carved corbels, with lion and angel head masks, the sides with strapwork panels and carrying handles, to a conforming stand, 17th century and later, 36in (91.7cm) h, 35in (89.3cm) w, 21.25in (53.8cm) d.
