An elm and oak table

An elm and oak table, the cleated top on 'X' shape supports, 29.75in (75.1cm) h, 42.5in (108cm) w, 23in (58.5cm) d. The elm top was originally part of the previous lot and has been reconstructed with a later base. Provenance:Bought by the vendor from the sale of antiques belonging to Countess Hamon by Messrs. Wyatt & Son, 'Woodend' West Stoke, Nr. Chichester, 24th April, 1947, lot 140.
