A Russian paperweight, with a 1.5in (4cm) diameter cannon ball mounted on a gun metal socle, the circular base stamped in cyrillic 'SEBASTOPOL 1854,' 2.75in (7cm) h.¦The Siege of Sebastopol was a major campaign during the Crimean War lasting from September 1854 to September 1855.
