An Indian ivory, sandalwood and horn casket, Vizagapatam, with twin sloping covers painted goddess Lakshmi, Hindu goddess of wealth, to foliage borders and with a central swing handle, the interior with a pierced division on carved paw feet, 12.75in (32.5cm) w, 9.5in (24cm) d. Cracks to ivory and lids warped.
