A 19th century model of a West Indianman ship, of ebonised and natural wood construction with bone and brass pins, having three masts with rigging and a female figure head, with ten cannon and with patches for sixteen, pair of lifeboats, ships wheel, bell, capstan and two anchors, 27in (68.5cm) h, 42.5in (108cm) l, in an ebony, bone and turned hardwood cradle.
