A George IV rosewood library open armchair
A George IV rosewood library open armchair, after a design by George Smith, later upholstered in a green and cream striped watered silk, the scroll back with channelled arms and scroll supports with leaf carving and conforming front rail, the back sides with anthemion and scroll applied decoration on ribbed and turned petal carved tapering legs with later brass castors.
