A William IV ebony and mother of pearl inlaid sewing box, of sarcophagus shape, the hinged lid fitted a letter pouch, to a divided lift-out tray with pink watered silk lids and covers and two button hooks, with ring handles and lobed bun feet, 7.75in (19.5cm) h, 13.5in (34cm) w, 10.5in (26.7cm) d. Some losses to inlay.
