A Dutch walnut and marquetry bureau bookcase, inlaid ribbon tied swags and musical instruments, the shaped cornice above a pair of panelled doors enclosing three adjustable shelves and three drawers, above a pair of pull-out candles slides, the stepped interior fitted with pigeon holes, drawers and a well, above two short and two long drawers and later bracket feet and castors, late 18th century but with later marquetry, 87.5in (222cm) h, 41.75in (106cm) w, 23in (58.3cm) d.
