An ivory baluster snuff mull
An ivory baluster snuff mull, with a hinged cover having an applied oval plaque inscribed 'JC 1699', 2in (5cm) h. The silver hinge with worn remains of engraving. Repair to the cover under the hinge and a brass plaque to the inside back edge for the back hinge pins.
