An Irish mahogany longcase clock, with an 8 day movement striking on a bell and a 13inch square brass dial, the chapter ring signed Alexr Gordon, Dublin, subsidiary seconds dial and circular date aperture, winged mask spandrels, the hood with a swan neck pediment with carved rosettes above a foliage carved frieze centred a lion mask, corinthian capital pilasters, broken arch trunk door flanked by reeded quarter pilasters, the base on ogee bracket feet, 92.75in (235.5cm) h.
