Earnshaw, Invt et fecit, No 365, London 2536; Earnshaw type escapement with spring detent, bimetallic Z balance with brass compensation weights, blued steel helical spring, in typical Earnshaw brass bowl with skirt counterweight; (gimbal and brass locking arms lacking) circa 1805, in a later associated mahogany box with re-engraved ivory plaque Earnshaw 365 Deckwatch, box 5in.
