A rosewood bowfront chest

A rosewood bowfront chest, of two short and three long drawers, with moulded vertical handles, 28.25in (71.5cm) h, 33.25in (84.5cm) w, 18in (45.8cm) d, a pair of occasional tables, a larger occasional table, a circular stool and a bedside cupboard. (6) This suite of furniture was made c.1944 in India, by the vendor's father an Architect with the Royal Engineers.
