Our January Interiors sale includes a mixture of English and Continental furnishings, ready to bring into your home. From single Windsor armchairs, side tables, card tables, lamps, animalier bronzes, chests of drawers to colourful carpets and rugs.
A selection of French and English decorative clocks will add elegance to a mantlepiece, as will a group of obelisks. Pairs of candlesticks that could be lit in front of one of the selection of mirrors will add a little sparkle to your room.
We have incorporated our 'Age of Oak' into the sale, with examples of furniture, showing simple but solid lines, left plain and taking on a rich patina and other pieces with exquisite hand carved detailing. To complement the flat surfaces of the oak, a collection of pewter dating from the 16th to the 19th century would not be out of place in a modern setting.
A collection of truncheons show a fascinating part of Police history in the UK. With many inscribed the names of cities, ports and parishes and the monarch's initials and Coats of Arms.
We look forward to seeing you at the view.
