A Scottish pewter potbellied measure, with a domed lid, erect thumbpiece and scroll handles, the inside rim with a plouk, the inside of the lid later inscribed 'A.S.', the base later inscribed 'Alexr Sinclair, Sonnet Law 1762', Scots pint capacity, 10in (25.5cm) h.
