A mahogany three seater sofa in George III style, upholstered blue draylon, with a cable edge to scroll arms and a serpentine edge seat, on husk and cabochon carved cabriole legs and scroll feet, late 19th / early 20th century, 36in (91.5cm) h, 83.25in (211.3cm) w, 34in (86cm) d. All legs with old breaks and repairs. Provenance:This sofa once stood in the waiting room of 64 Harley Street, London and by repute was sat on by Sir Winston Churchill and Dame Margot Fonteyn amongst other famous people.
