A George III mahogany gentleman's serpentine dressing commode, rosewood banded and inlaid stringing, with four long graduated drawers, the top drawer fitted a baize lined slide with hinged slope, revealing an easel back mirror, lidded, open and divided compartments, the drawers fitted later circular brass plate ring handles, flanked by cluster column pilasters on bracket feet, 32in (81cm) h, 37.5in (95cm) w, 23in (58.5cm) d.
