Boer War Interest. A hardwood swagger stick, with a carved hoof terminal and bone collar, the shaft inscribed 'A Souvenir From The Boer Camp Diyatalawa Ceylon 1900 - 1 - 2', 23.5in (59.5cm) l. Diyatalawa was a garrison town in the central highland of Sri Lanka (Ceylon). Prisoners of the Boer Wars were imprisoned here.
