A bronze bust of Hori Ngakapa Te Whanaunga, 3.75in (9.5cm) on an amboyna veneered plinth, printed label to reverse, 7.25in (18.5cm) h.
Hori Ngakapa Te Whanaunga was the warrior chief who was one of the leaders in the attack on the British escourt at Martin's Farm, Great South Road, 17th July 1863.
