IN THE MANNER OF GILLOWS, C.1790 AND LATER

with painted decoration of swags, ribbon tied leaves, wreaths, a feather fan patera, the crossbanded top with a leaf and bead border, above a frieze drawer, the brass lock stamped 'Mist', above a pair of doors with oval satinwood panels, enclosing a shelf, flanked by conforming panels, on square tapering legs and spade feet, the back with a trade label, inscribed 'Antique furniture from Apter Fredericks Ltd 265-267 Fulham Rd. London S.W.3'
