the brass eight day movement with a verge escapement, striking on a bell, the backplate engraved with Rococo scrolling leaves, the arched silvered dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, with calendar and strike/silent dials and signed 'Thos Coxworthy Plymouth Dock', the moulded edge case with brass fishscale sides and feet, the pad top with a brass handle
