See the 'Dictionary of English Furniture Makers, 1660-1840', where John Pemberton of Liverpool is listed as active between 1827-39, son of Peter Pemberton, cooper. He was free on the 19th October 1827 and trading at 74 Upper Frederick Street in that year.
