A set of four Victorian silvered brass twin branch wall lights by Richard Evered & Son, each with an oval back plate and a faceted tapering stem with an urn surmount with scroll arms and turned sconces, the back plate stamped a shield, 'R E & S', 30.1cm high, 31cm wide. (4)

Provenance: Sir Henry Russell Hornby, Bt, (1888-1971), 2nd Baronet of Brookhouse, of Barraclough, Clitheroe, Lancashire and thence by descent.

The company of Richard Evered & Sons was founded in Birmingham in 1809, they exhibited at The Great Exhibition in 1851.
