A 19th century marble sculpture of a young Bacchus, wearing a crown of vine leaves and grapes and holding a ewer in his right hand, standing on a naturalistic base next to a tree trunk, the base inscribed 'B. SAXF. ROMA 1867', 118cm high, 38cm wide.
