A Dutch bronze small pail or bucket in 17th century style, cast with portrait busts and coat of arms, the rim with an inscription and with a swing handle, 8in (20.3cm) high, 5¼in (13.5cm) wide.
The vendor took this bucket to the Victoria & Albert museum who confirmed that it was 17th century.
