The four oban tate-e from the series Fuzoku sanjuni so (Thirty-two Aspects of Customs and Manners of Women), comprising: a maid peering from behind a curtain, entitled 'Curious: Habits of an okosho of the Tempo era'; a beauty holding a fan, entitled 'Suitable/Becoming: Habits of a geisha of the licensed quarters in the Koka era'; another a scantily clad beauty gazing at flowers, entitled 'Awake: A young woman of the Koka era'; the fourth depicting a half-clothed courtesan emerging from behind a mosquito net, entitled 'Itchy: Habits of a concubine of the Kaei era', each print approx. 24cm x 36cm.
