The four oban tate-e from the series Fuzoku sanjuni so (Thirty-two Aspects of Customs and Manners of Women), comprising: a beauty eating tempura, entitled: 'Delicious: Habits of a prostitute of the Kaei era'; another examining plants believed to bring good luck for the lunar New Year, entitled 'Undecided: Habits of a proprietress of the Kaei era'; the third standing by her husband's robe, entitled: 'Expectant/Irritable: Habits of the wife of a fire chief in the Kaei era'; the last playing the shamisen, entitled 'Enjoying: Habits of a teacher of the Kaei era', each print approx. 24cm x 36cm.
