MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
Both of rectangular shape, one in woven bamboo, the lid with a silver plaque depicting an egret perched on the trunk of a weeping willow by the water edge, signed with a three character signature, possibly Ittosai; the other in cloisonné enamel with a ho-ho bird elegantly flying on a light blue ground, 6cm x 10.6cm x 14.6cm max. (4)
