EDO PERIOD AND LATER, 18TH CENTURY AND LATER

Seven made of wood, variously carved as Daruma, Shoki the Demon Queller, a sennin holding an alms bowl, a warrior holding a shoe, a rabbit and its leveret, and a parrot on a pine branch signed Gyokko, the eighth in mother of pearl and carved as a squid with amber eyes, together with a small Chinese jade carving of a monkey carrying its young over its shoulder, 7.7cm max.
