The quatrelobed incense burner decorated with panels variously enclosing a dragon, a minogame, a ho-o bird and a shishi, reserved on a geometric diaper ground below an openwork key-fret border, all raised on four splayed legs issued from mythical beast masks; the base cast with the marker's seal Dai Nihon Bunsei nen Seimin chu, 25.6cm x 32.5cm x 33.1cm.
