HEISEI ERA, 20TH CENTURY
Of tall ovoid form with a waisted neck and a flared rim, two small ring handles applied to the shoulder; decorated with a colourful glaze with aubergine, electric blue and cyan streaks, the white body left visible in places, the overall effect reminiscent of Chinese Tang dynasty glazes; signed underneath, 25.5cm; with a tomobako wood box inscribed Kabin, Kutani Yasokichi, with the seal Kutani Yasokichi.
