The three parts finely carved as the Sanbiki no Saru; the tobacco box depicting Mikazaru ('hear no evil'), the small primate wearing a haori decorated with mitsudomoe (three-comma) motifs; signed Mitsukuni in an oval cartouche at the back; the bead depicting Mizaru ('see no evil') and the netsuke Mazaru ('speak no evil'); the eyes inlaid with small black beads, the tonkotsu 7.8cm.
