Each side decorated with a shishi, the front with a larger one observing a butterfly it captured, the reverse with a smaller pup pouncing happily; the mythical beasts rendered in gold hiramaki-e and kanagai and the insect in mother of pearl inlay on the nashiji ground, signed Koma Koryu with kaō underneath, 7.5cm.
