Wearing long wigs and holding fans, both playing the role of a shōjō; the tallest with a coral mask, with details highlighted in gold and silver lacquer; the other a wood netsuke carved in the ittōbori (single cut) technique, painted in polychrome and gilt, possibly signed Ju, 5.5cm and 4.4cm respectively.
