TWO JAPANESE SATSUMA PIECES BY THE KINKOZAN WORKSHOP

The first an ovoid vase with a short neck, decorated with flowering branches of chrysanthemum and panels of brocade patterns, the base inscribed Kinkozan sei, 11.5cm; together with a small foliate bowl delicately painted to the well with a kaleidoscope of butterflies, the exterior with flowerheads, the base inscribed Kinkozan in gilt and with an impressed Kinkozan sei mark, 9.2cm.
