MEIJI 1868-1912

One depicting a fisherman picking a small fish out of a woven basket slung around his waist, with a two character signature to the base, possibly SAngyoku, the other depicting the 'clam's dream', the mussel-like seashell partially open to reveal many figures fishing with nets before a thatched building, together with a wood stand simulating waves, unsigned, 18.8cm max. (3)
