MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
Each decorated with birds and plants rendered in a variety of inlaid metals, two a pair decorated with onagadori chickens perched on flowering branches of prunus, both with the same signature to the side; the third vase with three cranes wading in a stream, a two character signature for Sukemitsu and the mark for the Nogawa Company underneath; the last vase with a small quail looking up at sprays of millet, unsigned, 15.2cm max. (4)
