A JAPANESE TSUIKOKU THREE-CASE BLACK LACQUER INRO
MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
Both sides carved in the Ryukyu manner with Chinese figures in and around pavilions, the buildings nestled amongst tall trees, the top and base with swirling clouds, with a coral ojime and a moulded resin netsuke depicting a South Sea Islander clasping a large vase containing a small branch of coral, the inro 8cm.
