EDO PERIOD, 18TH OR 19TH CENTURY

Probably Kyoto School, the tired man lying down on a large folded plantain leaf, his head buried between his crossed arms, wearing a long tunic and a sickle at his belt, 3.5cm.

Provenance: an English private collection, Somerset, purchased in Japan.
